The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from member companies who have volunteered their time to lead the Association. Every Full Corporate member of SIIA is eligible to nominate a representative from his or her company to run for a seat on the SIIA Board of Directors. We hope that you, or a member of your executive team, are interested in setting the priorities and the direction for the Association at large. Being a member of the SIIA Board of Directors is an invaluable opportunity to be the best possible advocate for your company’s interests and to develop the industry.
In the upcoming election, the membership of SIIA will elect six new Board members to two-year terms. The six new members of the Board will join the returning ten members and will then collectively appoint two Board members to one-year terms. The two Board-selected members are chosen for balancing purposes, since elections may leave one or more segments of our membership under-represented.
Should you be elected or appointed to the SIIA Board of Directors’ you will share in the supervision, control and direction of the affairs of the Association. There will be two face-to-face meetings during the next year, along with conference calls as needed.
