Mission Statement
The mission of the Education Division is to serve the evolving needs of the educational technology community and its marketplace.
Leading players in the education technology market take advantage of our market research reports, government advocacy and federal policy representation, the connections to business and funding resources, and our partnering opportunities.
Through our Education Policy work, we continue to provide leadership and representation on issues of concern to our members such as copyright and fair use, effectiveness of education technology, government legislation, privacy and security related to networked and data-driven education environments and scientifically based research.) We also review the opportunities & challenges of new legislation, regulations and policies, then summarize the key programs, and inform members of the challenges and opportunities therein.
