Founder and Partner, North Haven Partners
Adele Morrissette, Founder and Partner, works with emerging companies primarily in the media, advertising and direct marketing and information services industries. Before forming North Haven Partners, Adele was a partner and Managing Director at SG Cowen Securities Corp. and built the firm's investment banking practice in both traditional media and new media/internet industries, including digital imaging, storage and delivery companies. Adele's clients while at Cowen included Pixar, Spyglass, N2K, Panavision, Applied Graphics Technologies, Valley Media, and Creo Products, Inc. Adele's prior ten years of investment banking experience at L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin and Bankers Trust Co. combines an unusual blend of technology and traditional media: she has assisted in the initial public offerings of more than fifty companies, including The Sharper Image, New World Pictures and Software Publishing Corporation. Adele has also been a successful early stage investor in a number of portfolio companies including Starmedia Networks, Tripod (purchased by Lycos) and PerfectMatch. Adele has a M.B.A. in finance and entrepreneurship from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and holds a B.A. from Wellesley College where she graduated with high honors as a Wellesley Scholar. Adele is member of the Business Leadership Council for Wellesley College and was recently appointed to The MBA Advisory Board of The Tuck School.
