The SIIA Research and Development Executive Council is a group of software industry executives wanting to share best practices, network with peers, and provide thought leadership for events such as webinars, conferences, and roundtable discussions. The Research and Development Council usually consists of CTOs, VPs of Engineering, VPs R&D, and from larger companies, heads of product development. The council is concerned with issues and trends that are affecting most software company's research and development strategies including; coding standards, quality assurance, regression testing, product management, offshore development, localization, etc.
